MINDFULNESS & MBSR
Your Pathway to Balance and Resilience
Mindfulness is a simple yet profound practice that sharpens focus, fosters insight, and cultivates compassion. It's non-religious, non-sectarian, and accessible to everyone to improve their life.
Science supports what many have experienced firsthand: Mindfulness is a powerful tool that can improve your health and well-being. It is an evidence-based method that has proven benefits:
- Reduce anxiety and depression
- Improve ability to manage pain and difficult emotions
- Improve sleep
- Increase self-awareness
- Increase empathy and compassion.
- Enhance communication and listening skills
- Improve professional and personal relationships

We offer individual mindfulness training through personalized one-on-one sessions or with the highly regarded Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) classes. Monthly Meditation gatherings are offered FREE every 3rd Friday of the month.

MINDFULNESS-BASED STRESS REDUCTION (MBSR)
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an evidence-based, contemplative program that improves a host of physical and mental health conditions. The course teaches the principles, scientific foundation, and mixed modality practice of mindfulness. This program is an intensive, experiential exploration of mindfulness as a way of life.
Research shows that eight weeks of MBSR training can rewire our neural networks-inviting greater control over the brain regions connected to conditional response (stress), emotional reactivity, and fear.
MBSR reduces stress, increases cognition and memory, improves immune system and heart health, and is used to treat both anxiety and depression.
MBSR Individual Training Sessions
Offered as a one-on-one program, if group class schedules or your needs are more specific. Through a series of 5 sessions over 8 weeks the curriculum is customized to your personal needs.
MBSR Group Program: Tuesday, April 15th - June 3rd, 2025.
6PM - 8PM CT
MBSR is an 8-week, 9-session course designed to develop and integrate mindfulness practices into everyday life, using meditation, body awareness, and gentle movement.

FAQ
Although all yoga is potentially therapeutic and healing, yoga therapy is the specific application of yogic tools-postures/exercises, breathwork, meditation techniques, and more-to address an individual's physical, mental, and emotional needs.
Yoga therapists have completed an in-depth training to help them assess and keep their clients safe. Certified yoga therapists (C-IAYT) require a minimum of 800 hours of education.
A yoga therapist will work with you to address your specific goals while considering any limitations you might be experiencing. With a holistic approach to healing, adapting yoga to an individual or groups specific needs leads to improved physical, mental and emotional health.
